WiebeTech announces New Leatherette Case for SilverSATA™ or ProSATA™ Hard Drive Trays

Wichita, KS — December 19, 2006 — WiebeTech has introduced an attractive Storage Carrying Case for ProSATA or SilverSATA Drive Trays. The soft-grain leatherette case is inscribed with the WiebeTech logo and has a clear pocket window on the front for a business card or other labeling. A velcro flap keeps the drive and contents snug, and the case protects the drive electronics from dust.

The case is included for no charge with purchase of a ProSATA or SilverSATA tray with a pre-installed and pre-configured hard drive (SIS-TRAY-XXX or PROSATA-TRAY-XXX). Cases sell separately for $19.95 retail (CASE-TRAY). Cases are in stock and ready to ship.

The SilverSATA Series offers a choice of enclosures with 1, 2, 4 or 5 bays that work with fast SATA drives with capacities up to 750GB. Removable trays work in any of the SilverSATA enclosures, making the drives fully interchangeable. A variety of interface options are available from eSATA to FireWire to USB to SCSI Ultra320. A variety of RAID options are also available.

The ProSATA™ SS8 delivers up to 6TB (unformatted) storage in a very compact, transportable enclosure with eight SATA drive trays. Its built-in RAID controller supports most RAIDs up to and including RAID 6, and and a SCSI Ultra320 interface provides fast data access.
